Loving the stage our kids are in right now. They are so much fun and I love seeing there personalities continuing to grow. I wanted to remember a few things about each of them right now, so I had to make myself sit down and record it, before I forget!!
We will start with our 4 year old Hannah Grace. Oh, our little Hannah Grace. She is a ball of energy, fun, sweet, loving, strong willed, stubborn and loves people so much. She has the best little personality and loves to be around lots of people. She is definitely like her Mommy and Nana socially. She is so stubborn and does not give in easily on what she wants. This can be such a challenge at times, but we know it will be such a wonderful quality one day. She is so sweet with her brother and very patient and willing to share all her things with him. She loves to dress up and loves to dress up her brother as well (in all her princess dresses & leotards). She is in dress up clothes from the moment she wakes, until she goes to bed. Hannah Grace loves school and talks about her classmates and teachers all the time! She thrives in school and definitely looks forward to her school days. She loves all things music. Her favorite instrument is the trumpet and can always be caught around the house with some sort of instrument. She also loves Church and it is so neat to see her grasping the gospel. The other day I was getting on to her and reminding her, of how Jesus wants her to obey and how it pleases Him. She then proceeds to remind me of Jesus love for her and how he gives her everlasting life :) That is a moment I will not forget. We have the book ABC bible verses and Clint and I love going through those every night. Hearing your child recite scripture, is just a sweet thing. Hannah Grace and Clint have such a sweet relationship. She loves going on dates with her Daddy and is definitely a Daddy's girl. We had her check-up today and she was 40 inches(65%) and 39 pounds (75%) The laughter, fun, struggles and battle of the wills with Hannah Grace I am thankful for every day!
How is my little boy 18 months. He is no longer a baby anymore, but a toddler! He is 18 months, going on 3 :) He wants to do everything his sister does. Sitting in a chair, climbing on everything, drinking out of a real cup, having a plate and the list goes on. He is sooo strong willed! He does not take no for an answer, so there are many fits being thrown throughout the day. He will just lay in the floor screaming, until you come and pick him up. Pretty Funny! The boy can talk! I have mentioned this before, but I am not use to it. Hannah Grace was delayed in her speech and Knox is way ahead of where he should be. He can say almost anything and has started talking in 2-3 word sentences. Amazes me and makes my life easier. He can tell me exactly what he wants. Knox's personality is similar to Hannah Grace, but he is much more reserved and not into talking to complete strangers like she is. He really has to warm up to people, unlike her. He is also a huge Mommy's boy, which I love. He goes non-stop and is full of energy. He loves to be outside and gets upset, if he can't. He loves to dress up in Hannah Grace's clothes, which will make for some great rehearsal dinner pics one day! Knox is an ok eater, but much more picky than Hannah Grace. His favorites are pizza, mac and cheese, hotdogs, grilled fish, green beans and any kind of fruit! My favorite thing Knox says right now is Hold-U, with his little lisp. We went to the Dr. today for his 18 month check-up and he is so tall at 35 1/4 inches (off the charts) and 30 pounds (85%). He is only 5 inches shorter than HG, so she better watch out, because brother is going to catch up to her! Love my little Momma's boy!!
