13 &14 Months

Summer has gotten me behind on blogging, but I am fine with that! We have been having a blast this summer and my kids are non-stop! There are some things I really want to remember about Knox at this stage, so I had to make myself do the past 2 months post. His little personality is coming out more and more. He loves people just like his sister, but is a bit more timid with strangers (happy about this, since Hannah Grace would go home with a complete stranger). He will wave to everyone when we are out and has a conversation with them in his own language. He is very fast and agile and can get anywhere. Climbs up the stairs, gets onto the furniture, climbs on top of tables and the list goes on and on. He even made it to the top of the chick-fil-a playground a few weeks ago. Obviously, he has no fear! He will swim in the pool with just floaties on and could do that all day long. He is saying more and more words these days. Here are the ones I can remember at the moment: Dada, Momma, Nana, Grandad, Ball, stairs, more, no, bye bye, uh-oh, dog, and bird. He is not into TV at all, which I love, except on a really long day, when Mommy could use a break! He is really into his Nana right now and will choose her over me, if we are both around :) His eating has gotten so much better lately. He went through a major picky stage, but hopefully we are out of that for a while. His favorite foods right now are peaches, grapes, pizza, waffles, peas, any bean, fish, avocados, hummus, bananas, strawberries and hot dogs. The sweet boy wants to do everything his sister does. This makes for some interesting and dramatic moments in our house. He always wants her toy and to sit in the same chair as her. Obviously this is not what Hannah Grace wants. He is rough!! Hannah Grace and he wrestle all the time and she will be on top of him and he loves every minute of it. He has figured out that if he wants to get to Hannah Grace, all he has to do is pull her hair. Well, this is happening way to much these days. Hard to punish a 14 month old, so any tips would be greatly appreciated! There is a lot of sweet moments between the two of them. They have regular tea parties every day, where I am their server and I love moments like those. Knox loves to play outside with balls, on the swing set and riding in Hannah Grace's Barbie car. He is obsessed with his lovie and now has to have 2 to sleep with. Love this sweet, precious child and his cute little personality!
