I have skipped right over 10 months and we are now 11 months. Where has the time gone?! I can't believe my little baby is going to be one in less than a month! Knox continues to be such a sweet baby. He just loves life and loves people. He continues to think his sister is the coolest person and follows her around all day long. He tries to do exactly what she does, wants to play with the same toys and mimics her every move. It is really special to see their sweet relationship starting to grow. Knox has become a little attached to me lately and will cry every time I am out of sight. This has been a little hard, but I know is just a phase! This boy loves to eat!! I feel like I can't keep up. He still eats some baby food, but is mostly eating regular food now. His favorites right now are avocado, green beans, hummus, grapes, cheese, chicken, yogurt and any noodle. He is standing on his own now and has taken a few steps, but is still hesitant to just go for it. I bet it will be soon! He loves to climb our stairs and will pitch a fit if you take him off! Speaking of pitching fits, these are starting to happen a little more with Knox. I use to think he wasn't going to have a strong personality like Hannah Grace, but I am starting to rethink that now. He is stubborn and definitely will try his best to get it his way! Love this sweet boy and can't wait to celebrate his 1st Birthday soon!!

Easter Fun
We had a fun Easter Egg Hunt with our Mom's group from church. It is such a fun group and I love spending time with all these girls and their children. Hannah Grace was really into hunting eggs this year and finally got the point of the hunt :) Knox was just content watching all the other kids and having his one egg to play with. The week after Easter, since we couldn't make it to Guntersville for Easter, my Mom brought the kids baskets when she came for her weekly visit. Nana does a nice Easter basket and the kids loved all their fun stuff.

Easter Baskets and Easter Bunny
Hannah Grace loves the Easter bunny and we saw him twice this year. Once at the Galleria with friends and at Brookwood Mall with Daddy. Knox just grined and laughed both times when he saw him :) I love doing Easter baskets for the kids and just do some small things in them. Hannah Grace is all about doctors these days, so I was so excited to find her the cutest pink doctors kit! She was beyond thrilled and has been giving us all check-ups. She will ask you, "What's the matter?", then will tell you she is going to check your heart beat, then will tell you to take a deep breath, and another and another! Hilarious! Maybe a future doctor?!

Easter Sunday
We had a great Easter Sunday, despite that fact that Knox was sick! Thankfully, our church has several different services, so we were both able to make it, but just not together :( Such is life with little ones! We also weren't able to make it to Guntersville to see my family, due to the sickness. So, we enjoyed lunch at Bonefish Grill, just the 4 of us. It was a great Easter, even though it didn't go as expected. Every Easter is special, but this year, Hannah Grace was able to learn and understand more about why we celebrate Easter. What a special thing to watch as her little brain churns and she asks questions about our Risen Savior! I especially loved one of the songs her MDO teachers taught her about the Resurrection and put it on a place mat for us to sing everyday. To the tune of Jesus loves Me, it goes like this:
This is the Cross where Jesus died
This is the hill where Mary cried
This is the stone that rolled away
Jesus rose on the very third day.
Yes Jesus loves me.
At church in between services. Proof that we were all there at some point! |
In Mommy's dress that she wore when she was 5! Hannah Grace is a lot taller than I was :) |
