I have to be honest, going home with 2 babies was a bit nerve wracking! I had read so many books and talked to so many friends with twins, but once you see two babies in front of you, it is a reality check! The first few weeks were rough! Little sleep, mastitis, babies had to be under the light for jaundice and reflux developing in both of them made it hard. We got them on the same schedule pretty quickly and by one month, they were sleeping and eating at the same time, so that helped tremendously. In the first few weeks, we could already see their personalities developing. Little Payton was so laid back and Mr. Pearson required a little more attention. Looking back, it is really all a big blur. I see the Lords hand on each stage and am so thankful He gave us the endurance to make it through it!
